Izuba means “sun” in a language from Africa, a name inspired by a journey that left its mark on the heart of our little brand.
Now based in South Beach Fremantle, a sunny corner of Western Australia. We’re a small, local jewellery shop + studio creating pieces by hand, always with an eye for the latest trends and inspirations from across the globe.

Hello, I’m Jennifer, the founder of Izuba Jewellery in South Fremantle. My journey into jewellery and teaching began after studying communication at university, followed by a career as a primary school teacher and French instructor in Africa — where the word "Izuba," meaning "sun," comes from.
My passion for creative learning inspired me to start offering workshops where people can express themselves through jewellery making. Each workshop is about sparking creativity and crafting meaningful, personalised pieces in a fun, hands-on way.
At Izuba, we focus on connection, self-expression, and creating something truly special. Whether you're crafting for yourself or with a group, I’d love for you to join us and bring your ideas to life!
The puppy

Meet Sam, our adorable 4-month-old Cocker Spaniel and the shop’s official paw-some mascot!
🐾 He’s full of energy, charm, and just the right amount of mischief. Sam loves to greet visitors with a wagging tail and big puppy eyes, and he’s always up for a cuddle or a quick game of fetch between naps. If you’re lucky, you might even catch him showing off his puppy tricks or just lounging around in his favourite spot. He’s the heart of the shop and a guaranteed mood-lifter—come say hi next time you visit!
