The Story
Hi, this is us, Sam and Jen!
A Belgian girl and a cocker spaniel with one goal: escaping the grey weather and building a little dreamy life by the beach.
Sam joined the adventure when he was just 3 months old and is now officially the South Beach
director.
Izuba was born from a love for handmade creations and little keepsakes that hold precious memories.
What started as a small creative project slowly became a studio, a charm bar, and now a beautiful
little community.
Why izuba
The origine
Because Izuba means “sun” in Kirundi.
It’s a little word Jen kept with her while teaching in Africa, long before Australia and jewellery.
Izuba is the memories, sunshine, and happy energy of the kids there, carried into our little South Beach studio.
THE JOURNEY
the beginning
From local marketsIzuba first started with little jewellery displays at local markets around the West Coast. What began with handmade pieces and tiny setups slowly turned into a small community of people collecting charms and creating jewellery with us.
THE STUDIO
Workshops, Charms & CommunityToday, our South Beach studio is known for its charm bar experience, creative workshops and custom jewellery made piece by piece with our community.
More than a jewellery store, Izuba became a little creative space by the beach.

Made By IzubaWhat started with charms slowly grew into a real jewellery label.
Now, we design our own charms, create handmade collections and share Izuba both in studio and online around the world.

Our fabrication
All our little Izuba pieces are assembled by hand in our South Beach studio in Freo by our tiny team. Between two beach walks with Sam and an iced coffee, we create your jewellery piece by piece, with lots of care and attention to every little detail.
No big mass production here, just slow little handmade creations designed to follow someone through everyday life, memories and little moments.
Because every piece is made by hand just for you, creating it can sometimes take a little extra time… but that’s the magic of small handmade production.
